Challenge
Balid’s digital presence was primarily focused on showcasing individual properties, while its identity as a villa management brand was still relatively unclear. The communication felt generic and did not fully capture the character of South Bali or establish a distinctive connection between the brand, its properties, and the destination.
Solution
I developed a new communication direction positioning Balid as a warm and thoughtful villa management brand rooted in the South Bali experience. Rather than communicating only the villas themselves, I expanded the storytelling into South Bali’s coastal lifestyle, surfing culture, tropical environment, local destinations, slow living, and leisure experiences. This direction was then translated across content planning, copywriting, visual direction, short-form video, social media, website development, and destination storytelling.

The project established a clearer brand direction for Balid as a South Bali villa management company. Its communication evolved from primarily showcasing individual properties into a more cohesive brand experience connecting villas with South Bali’s lifestyle, destinations, and hospitality. This also created a stronger foundation for consistent communication across social media and the website.
Result
Shifting its digital presence from a property focused catalogue toward a South Bali hospitality brand connected to local lifestyle, destinations, and experiences.
Key Takeaway
A hospitality brand can differentiate itself not only through the properties it manages, but through the destination and experience it represents.
